prayatna-śaithilya-ananta-samāpattibhyām (Yog Sutra 2.47)
Relaxation of effort and absorption into the infinite bring perfection in asana.

like to use tools like blocks, chairs, and straps in my classes. Some people think these are only for beginners, but I see them differently. They are like a friendly hand helping you find your way.
If your muscles feel tight or you feel a bit unsteady, a block or a wall can give you the support you need. These tools help us move safely without pushing or forcing the body. They make sure the yoga fits you, no matter your age or how flexible you are. When we use this kind of support, we can stop worrying about falling and start focusing on how it feels to breathe and move freely.
To me, balance is about more than just standing on one leg. It’s about that quiet feeling when your body and your mind finally feel ‘in sync.’
When we move with care and keep our body in a good line, the tension starts to melt away. You begin to feel a sense of lightness and grace. This is the ‘freedom’ I want you to find—it’s the confidence that comes when you feel steady and strong. Over time, yoga stops being a ‘workout’ and starts being a way to feel more spacious and calm inside.
