—- practice and self-study, the two pillars of yoga.

Deep On Yog is a practice space where people come to explore themselves through the path of Yog.
The name holds a special meaning for this space. In Hindi and Sanskrit, Deep means “light” or “lamp.” Deep On Yog is a humble tribute to the life and work of B.K.S. Iyengar, whose legendary book, Light on Yoga, serves as a constant inspiration here. Just as a lamp clears the darkness, the goal of this space is to bring clarity and understanding to the ancient practice of Yog.
The space is built on a simple idea: when movement becomes conscious, it transforms more than just the body. It begins to change how we live, how we think, and how we connect with ourselves.
Rooted in the wisdom of Sage Patanjali, the approach focuses on clarity, precision, and awareness. The practice here is not about achieving a “perfect” posture, but about understanding the body and observing the mind. Whether in a classroom or a quiet home space, the goal is to find a sense of balance through steady, honest effort.

At Deep On Yog, the method blends alignment, props, and mindful sequencing to make every posture accessible and meaningful.
The goal is not to do more poses but to practice with intelligence, awareness, and stability.
The teaching rests on four pillars:
Therapeutic and Meditative Approach – restoring health, calmness, and inner quiet through thoughtful sequencing.
Alignment and Precision – bringing steadiness and clarity to the body.
Props as Tools of Awareness – building balance, ease, and safety in every pose.
Guided by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras – understanding yoga as a journey of the mind, not just physical movement.
Deep On Yog isn’t just a place to come for a class. It’s a living space that feels like home. Here, everyone is welcome—whether you are a total beginner, someone who has practiced for years, or if you are looking for a more therapeutic way to handle pain or health issues.
Nobody is rushed here. You grow at your own pace, and I make sure you get the personal attention and guidance you need. The vibe is calm and structured, but also very kind. It’s a space where discipline and compassion work together, so you can make real, honest progress in your own time.

Online sessions are there to support your practice when you can’t make it to the studio. These classes are straightforward and focused. They use the same Yog alignment and precision that I teach offline, so you don’t miss anything.
You can choose a one-on-one session or join a small weekly group. Every class has clear instructions and a solid sequence, with corrections you can use right away.
The goal is very simple: Keep your practice steady. Maintain your alignment. Keep moving forward from wherever you are.
If you need personal attention, therapeutic help, or just want to stay connected to the work we do in the studio, these online classes are a reliable way to keep going.
